1/25/03 - We won't go away! A "reunion" of some sort is in the works for the summer. We will keep you posted. When the time comes we'll get the word out. I'm looking forward to seeing all of you again and who knows maybe we'll get a recording to distribute. Keep in touch.
10/14/02 - Band member update: Chris and former drummer Jake have joined a metal band called Assault. They will be playing at The Chance Theater on saturday, October 19th with Mortician,Scar Culture, Shadows Fall, Sickbay, Lugosis Needle, and All That Remains.Tickets are $12.
10/10/02 - It is truly sad to report that Killsport has broken up. Anyone interested in contacting a band member should do so asap because this website will be shutting down since there is nothing to report. If I hear any info on band members' new projects before I shut down the site I will gladly report it to you. Thank you for your support(hope to see you in the future) and good luck to band members.

2/24/02 - We are playing a show at Saratoga Winners in Latham,NY in late march/early april with Unbalanced, Pipebomb, and three other bands. Anyone interested in going - it is $10 for the bus ride up, admission and an hour of free drafts. As soon as we have all the specifics, we will post them here. 11/12/01 - Greetings to all. We are scheduled to record more of our new cd on 11/10 and 11/17. The cd is tentatively titled "A Moment Of Clarity" . Other notes, We are currenly booking another Chance show and another show at the Continental in NYC. Check back soon for details.
10/29/01 - Thanks to everyone who went to the Dock 73 show. The seller of the most tickets(us) won 9 hours of recording time in the studio. Free is good. Also, thanks to everyone at the Red Zone show in Queens, especially the "hardcore guy" and the two guitar and one beat drum machine band.
10/6/01 - We finally began recording our next cd on wednesday(10/3). So far just the drum and bass parts for two and a half songs are completed. We will post any future progress here. Speaking of cds, we "reissued" Murder For Fun And Profit. The new version, done by Michelle from Twisted Fool Media , is professional looking and now comes in a sleeve(unfortunate circumstances forced us to retire the original cover- limited edition baby!!) Also, a Chance show is being scheduled in december. Details here soon. Peace.
9/16/01 - Regarding the recent tragedy, we would like to express our sympathy to all the victims' families, and anyone who suffered any kind of loss because of this attack. To all the rescue workers and people who gave money, supplies, time, and even blood - we can't even begin to thank you enough. Keep it up! To those who have not donated something, get off your ass and find a way to help - this is your country too. To anyone involved in the plot for this attack - FUCK YOU -you will be punished for what you have done. This will not stop America. AMERICA WILL NOT DIE!!!!!! Thank you for letting me vent. Be kind. 8/13/01 - Thanks to all who came to the End Zone show. Bad news kiddies, ..... due to unfortunate circumstances, we had to cancel the studio time. The cd will be recorded at a later date. We hate that as much as you do. We will fill you in as soon as we book studio time. Two new shows coming up. One in NYC on September 28 and one at Dock 73 (party w/ FREE food and beer) on October 20. We'll have the specifics up here soon.
7/2/01 - Sorry about the lack of updates. We are currently writing and rehearsing for our upcoming cd. It will be recorded on the last week of august. In the tradition of all things Killsport, while playing our set, Joe accidentally broke his hand and had to have pins put in it. They have since been removed. This just shows you how much we get into it(and this was at practice!!). A shout out to Rob Williams and the Killsport street team.
5/25/01 - We moved into our new home last night. After "making it ours", we jammed out and had a good time. Big thanks to everyone who came down(and brought "party supplies") to hang out. 5/6/01 - First, we would like to welcome Matt Wylong as the new Killsport drummer. We are working hard to have the songs perfect for the shows in a couple weeks. 4/23/01 - Special thanks to those who made the trek to the Metalfest and the bands we met. We are on a new Sadistic Records Compilation entitled "Raping The World". We should have a merchandise page up soon. Studio time has been booked(FINALLY!) during the summer to record our new cd. Sadly, Jake will be leaving the band due to creative differences. 3/15/01 - The Metal Meltdown Metalfest show has been confirmed. It's at the Convention Hall in Asbury Park New Jersey(April 6 &7). Bands scheduled to perform are: Nile,Pessimist,Dying Fetus,Shadows Fall,Candiria,All Out War,Die Cast,God Forbid,Amorphis,Napalm Death,etc.(too many to mention). The band schedule is not up yet, so we don't know when we will play. When they post it,we will here and on the shows page.
3/12/01 - The" Westchester County Center" show advertised in More Sugar was incorrect. It should say Westchester Community College. It's just like them to plug shows in places that don't exist.We are also in the process of booking a spot at the Metal Meltdown Metalfest in Asbury Park NJ on 4/6 or 4/7. 1/23/01 - Through no fault of our own, the 1/20(Chance) and the 1/21(Saratoga Winners)shows were cancelled. The Chance show was because of weather(again) and Saratoga was unfortunate circumstances. We apologize to anyone who went to the clubs expecting a show only to be disappointed. We also were unaware of the cancellations. Fortunately,the 1/20 Chance gig has been rescheduled for 2/17/01, thus giving everyone more time to make arrangements to go and buy tickets($8) from the bands to support. Hope to see you there.
1/3/01- Hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and new year celebration. If you hadn't noticed the 12/30 Uncorked show was cancelled due to snowstorm. If any of you were crazy enough to brave the elements to see us, we apologize(and salute you!) On 12/28, Killsport went to Cablevision Studios in Yorktown to tape an edition of "Underground Thrashold" for future airing. Keep an eye out for it.When we hear of the air time/date we'll pass it on. Anyone who lives near the band who would like to go to the Saratoga Winners show(1/21-in Latham,NY), contact us through email or any way you know how and hopefully we'll work something out. Also we are recording two new songs for a new comp from sadistic records to be out soon.
11/7/00-Another Uncorked in Mohegan Lake show is booked for 11/17/00. We're having a "Top The Cop" contest. Take a picture of a KILLSPORT sticker(or logo) in the sickest place you can think of and send it to us via e-mail (killsport@hotmail.com) or give it to us at a show. The winning picture will win a prize.
10/16/00-Big thanks to those who supported the Holy Name Of Mary Church benefit and everyone who came to the 10/14 Uncorked show (and Assault for playing).The 10/28 halloween show at Foley's has been cancelled.We now have long sleeve shirts(with the same 'art'as the t-shirt). As you can tell,we are not artists. If anyone would like to draw some artwork for a shirt or upcoming cd cover,contact us-we'll work something out.
